Folkloric Dances

As I left work I saw a gathering. I went to check out what was going on. There was a show with dances from different regions of Turkey. This was organized by the mute and deaf association.

Garden

The other I heard people working in our building, I went to the window to witness this interesting scene; the building's owner decided to get rid of the little garden we had in front of the house, to tear down the ground and so he'll be able to have bigger windows in his office.

Oreo

Those of you who wonder on how Oreo is doing, you can see that he's getting bigger, except for the head. Look at this belly. He loves to eat all of our books covers, newspapers or paper in general. I've never seen that in a cat, can someone tell me what might be the reason(s) ? Thanks.

Flugtag

Today was Fun Day. We went to see the 1st Redbull Flugtag event in Istanbul. It was really fun. We had the chance to get invitations which allowed us to watch it from a good place ;)

Very very very crowded, about 85,000 people I believe.



We were across the crowd on that ferry, in the shadow which was nice because it was a warm and sunny day.









There was also a sailing race going on, like there is almost every week end here.

A Day at the Museum

Today I went to work and we went to the press conference given by Asus. They were presenting their new coming (to Turkey) eee PC. The press conference was held in the Rahmi Koç Museum where you can see some old mean of transport so we glanced around. The museum which is kind of a science museum also holds a temporary exhibition about the brain.
