Oreo has been neutered today and he lost his manly hood. I'm sure he'll be mad at us the first two days and then forget all about it... :)

Oreo Started Base Jumping

I was wondering when Oreo would decided to take the plunge, well it was today.
Ekin woke me up this morning telling me that Oreo might have done some base jumping from the window. And yes he did. He was down there, 2 floors below, scared in his corner wainting for someone to rescue him. Of course he's doing fine and is in real good shape. Tomorrow is veterinarian day anyway.

Those of you who wonder on how Oreo is doing, you can see that he's getting bigger, except for the head. Look at this belly. He loves to eat all of our books covers, newspapers or paper in general. I've never seen that in a cat, can someone tell me what might be the reason(s) ? Thanks.

Searching Day

Today, our friend Sibel was looking for a new apartment, so we tagged along to help her in her choices. We visited 9 different places. 7 of them were crappy, the floors weren't straight, the walls weren't straight, etc. We usually say that the architect is from the black sea.

Oreo is getting bigger












On the way to the first place, Sibel brought us to this new place called Burger Bar in Istiniye that makes those real American burgers. It's hard to find a good one in here and it's nice to have one once in a while.









I didn't take any pictures of the buildings or apartments we visited, just some views from them.










































As an animal lover, I spotted right away this small lizard in the bushes. I use to catch them and study them when I was in the U.S.

I saw this man this morning while returning home. He's working in this parking lot (in Zincirlikuyu), nice office.









I took this picture right outside the movie theater today (Taksim). I forgot this man's name but you can see him there every day. He's a poet, writer or something like that. I like his giant prayer beads.

Ekin took these pictures this morning before going to work. She also shot a video I'll try to put later on where you'll see that he went back down pretty easily.



















Oreo went to the vet today for his last shot this year. In a month or so, he'll get neutered. he's already gaining weight and has a nice belly, I wonder what it's gonna be like after the surgery.

Every day, Oreo's brothers and sisters come by the kitchen window, but there is one coming more than the others : his sister. Their coat aside they look very similar, meow the same way. I wish we'd taken her too at the time.
